Adapalene 0.1% weight / weight*
Why use Adapalene:
• Used on the face or chest or back to treat acne, where the skin may contain many blackheads, spots, and pimples.
Do not use Adapalene:
• If you are pregnant
• If you are planning to become pregnant
• If you have an allergy to Adapalene or any other ingredients of this medication
Precautions and warnings:
• Do not use this medication on areas with wounds or scratches or on skin affected by sunburn or if you have a skin condition called eczema.
• Avoid contact with eyes or mouth or nostrils, and avoid other sensitive areas of the body.
• Avoid exposure to strong sunlight and artificial ultraviolet rays.
• If you experience allergy or irritation when using this medication, stop using it and inform your doctor.
Possible side effects:
General: May affect up to 1 in 10 people
• Dry skin
• Skin irritation
• Burning sensation in the skin
• Redness of the skin (erythema).
